It’s an easy Sunday here at Hog Manor, where the snow rests easy on the gardens and drifts over the fountain, long since drained for the season.
After two days of violent blizzard — routine to have one or two a winter, in these latitudes — we have a cold but brilliantly clear day with a rich blue sky over snowfields of purest white. It is a day of rare beauty, and we mean to enjoy it.
May you do likewise, whatever the weather and circumstances at your location.
