Apparently, there are people delighted by his murder — aside from the nutbag murderer himself, who’s now charged with two counts of capital murder and is on the great state of Texas’s rocket docket to being put down like a mad dog.
There are some usual suspects, mostly bitter, angry leftys like University of Rhode Island instructor (not professor, yet) Erik Loomis. Twitchy.com has a good collection of those clowns celebrating his death.
However, while they did a good job of rounding up the hate-filled ghouls of the left, they missed the hate-filled ghoul of the right, former Congressman Ron Paul, who tweeted thus:
What a no-good skunk. Are his rabid partisans cool with that? Silly question. He could cannibalize kids in Times Square in prime time before the cameras of every network on cable, and his Paulbots would find some way to rationalize that latest encyclical from Pope Ron.
Dakota Meyer USMC MOH had perhaps the best response to the unpleasant Paul:
Paul didn’t respond.
But of course, neither Twitchy’s trash bag of 60s-throwback leftists, nor the infantile right-wing id that is Ron Paul, walked away with the prize. The all-time winers are the “Westboro Baptist Church,” an inbred family loosely organized around pervy patriarch Fred Phelps. Their tweet was too vile to quote or link, but what do you expect from a family whose bloodlines resolve to infinite loops? (Technically, they’re more leftists, as Phelps repeatedly ran for office as a liberal Democrat. But the other Democrats had the decency to hand him primary losses every time).
